The ridgid-orange-style adaptor only fits the current ORANGE lithium ion series of ridgid-stlye batteries. This will not work with red "Emerson" series batteries.
Power Adaptor 2 for the 5E FLEX Smoke Blower allows the connection of any battery using an orange series 18v ridgid-style attachment*. The Adaptor is approximately 12" long and has a magnet for easy attachment to the 5E FLEX blower housing.
Note: The magnet is powerful enough to suspend most small - moderately sized batteries to the side of the blower housing. However, during transport, the battery should be either removed or adhered to the TOP of the blower to avoid being dropped.
